According to the UNIAN Information Agency, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a bill on the possibility of Ukrainian seafarers to go abroad during martial law.

In particular, the document was approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, according to the relevant statement on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"My draft law has passed the stage of coordination in the Cabinet of Ministers," emphasized the author of the draft - People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky. - "And now our joint task is to ensure that the bill is included in the agenda of the meeting of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence in the near future. After that, it will be able to get to the Verkhovna Rada hall for a vote."

Dubinsky urges everyone to write requests to the members of the committee to speed up the approval process of this bill.

It was previously reported that on June 13, Oleksandr Dubinsky registered draft law No. 7461, which proposes to regulate the issue of seamen's departure abroad at the legislative level.

As the parliamentarian emphasized, "under the conditions in which the national economy is now, it is hardly worth losing such important advantages just because Ukrainian sailors do not have the opportunity to do their work at sea."

In response to a request from a People's Deputy, the Ministry of Economy prepared a resolution on a separate procedure for crossing the state border to leave Ukraine for men aged 18 to 60 who are going to work on seagoing vessels and inland navigation vessels as part of the crews of these vessels.
